Ministries

At Children’s Ministry, our goal is to introduce children to Jesus at a young age so that at the right time, they too will make a decision to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. In addition to the hands on Bible study that each student receives, the curriculum is mixed with arts and music. Each Sunday, the children are taught to worship God through Kid’s Praise, a praise and worship session designed for children. They are then ushered to one of the four different age group classes. The last 15 minutes of Sunday school is spent at music room where students rehearse for their scheduled once a month special number presentation during church service. The Children’s ministry also participates in church wide activities such as concerts and drama presentation.

Jedediah Youth, or J-Youth, consists of middle and high school students who, even at such a young age, are choosing the path that leads to Christ. Jedediah, which means “loved by God,” signifies how nothing will ever take His love away from His children. As children of God, these teenagers willingly give their time and talents to the Lord each week no matter how hectic their lives seem to be. They always find the time to make it to weekly activities, which in turn help strengthen their faith. Every Thursday night J-Youth joins J-YA in Bible Studies and together they dig deeper into the Word of God. On Friday nights, both groups join again for weekly youth nights. Friday Night Life is an event where these young people get together to sing praises to God, to hear an uplifting message from one of the pastors or leaders, and to even play games and simply fellowship with one another. The members of J-Youth are incredible teenagers who show that age does not matter when it comes to serving God, and that even the youngest heart can be the most willing.

J-YA, which stands for Jedediah Young Adults, consists of high school and college students who strive to live a life with God in the center of it. Jedediah, meaning “loved by God,” signifies how, as children of God, He will always love us. The life as a young adult presents many different choices and paths, yet this group of individuals fight to go against the flow of the world and go in the direction that God intends for them. As a way to help keep their faith growing J-YA holds Bible Studies every Thursday night, where they share passages from the Bible and discuss them. Every Friday they also hold a youth/young adults night called Friday Night Life. FNL is an event where these young people get together to sing praises to God, to hear an uplifting message from one of the pastors or leaders, and to even play games and simply fellowship with one another. The members of J-YA are an amazing group of people who prove that it is still possible to live a young adult life as a Christian in such a secular world.
